Hello there, and thank you firstly for taking the time to have a gander at what I have to say.

As you’ve read from my section on ‘what’s to know’ – I’ve created this blog essentially to explore varying topics regarding the world of boarding schools from someone who has enjoyed a career in boarding.

From what I’m aware of, my experiences do vary to many others due to the fact I’ve worked in a variety of settings: Teaching English in summer schools, working in summer school management, University RA, Graduate Assistant and then climbing the ranks up to a more senior role within the House Parent remit, and the settings have also varied from your more traditional settings to those considered more alternative in themselves.

I hope writing on these experiences may help others who might have questions, perhaps you would like a career in boarding, perhaps you have a career in boarding and are seeking answers from other people in this field, or maybe you’re just someone who’s actually interested in what’s going on – who knows, but thank you for checking out this blog and let’s see how we move on from here.
